fplus Dunny series "Keeper of the Silhouette Tower"

fplus has come up with an awseome Dunny Series, his " Keeper of the Silhouette Tower " series is a thing to behold. It is not very often that a person comes along and does an entire series of custom Dunnys, its a huge task, but flpus has taken it on and exceeded expectations!

This series is a blindbox edition of 20 Dunny's in total, 5 x each colourway, each one is entirely hand sculpted and painted unduvidually, signed and numbered and comes in a special box. Each box is $85 shipped anywhere. To add to this brilliant series, anyone who purchases a Dunny, will be thrown into a draw to win a 8" Dunny, done in one of the 13 House of Majik styles of the winners choice!

This is an amazing series, it has really blown me away, the concept is great, the execution even better. You can buy them ( HERE ) , go on and get one, if not 4 !!! Have a look at the KR Boards Thread ( HERE ) also, for more images and backstory.

Reactor 88 Custom Totem 8-inch Bic Buddy

Reactor 88 has shown us his custom for the BIC Buddy Custom show, taking place at Crewest and Brooklyn. Keeping to his fantastic Totem style, but taking a bit of a departure from his usual colour palate of reds and blues, he has done this one is really nice gold and browns. Fantastic bit of work from Reactor 88, this show looks very promising from the customs I have seen so far .

Rsinart Custom Teddy Trooper 10" "Whisper"

Rsinart shows us his latest custom, his 10" Teddy Trooper. Commisioned for a private collector, this Teddy Trooper has gone to the next level with the help of Rsinart's amazing skills.

His colours and unique style really add to this custom, making for one really happy collector I am sure. The work done on the helmet really makes it for me, love it. Follow Rsin on Twitter ( HERE ) , he is one busy guy at the moment and am sure he will be showing us more in the near future!!

Super7 carry on their wonderful weekend releases with Banana Milton. This fantastic piece created by Brian Flynn dropped on Saturday, along with a few other releases, and went for $15. they were available ( HERE ) but alas I think they are sold out. Another brilliant release from Super7.

Motorbot " I like to eat " show at Dragatomi

Motorbot held his " I like to eat " show at Dragatomi this last weekend, now we have in the past seen his food inspired Labbits and customs, but this show had the widest buffet variety of yummy Labbits that  I have ever  seen. The list is to long to mention, but there were Snowballs, Hams, Pickles, Kiwis, Avocados and Jalepeno's to mention  a few

There were about 14 x 5" Labbits, 2 x 10" Labbits and 10 x mini Labbits, crazy times. From reports on Twitter, it looks like it was a roaring success, with some people even thinking the customs were real food!!! Have a look at Dragatomi's Flickr ( HERE ) to see the items on display, the realness is amazing, makes me hungry just looking at this work, really want to bite into that Snowball Labbit, looks yummy !!

They are looking sweet also, the mysteries look very interesting, it is labelled Coming Soon for now, so we will have to wait and see.

Southerndrawl Custom BIC Buddy "E=mc^2 Circus Dreams"

Southerndrawl had finished up his custom for the upcoming BIC Buddy custom Show, happening in LA and NYC March to April. The concept behind this custom is great, wondering what if Einstein joined the circus, so here we have Einstein as the Circus Strongman.

Loving the muted tones on this piece, and the sculpt work is brilliant. Have a look at the flyer below to see all the other great artists involved in this show !

Kidrobot Black SSUR Skull Revealed

And now for something COMPLETELY different!!! Seen on Hypebeast is the long awaited reveal of the next Kidrobot Black figure, designed by Russ Karabalan of SSUR, this is one crazy piece. The design on this black skull is amazing, and the gold teeth just blow me away. I am a skull fan, love me a bit of sugar skulls, and this is next level stuff. Congrats to KR for this Black movement, and trying to make the Vinyl collector scene what it was once again.

Jon Paul Kaiser Custom Munny "Victorian Policeman"

Top Toy customizer Jon Paul Kaiser had added to Wooly's impressive Police themed custom collection with this Victorian Policeman Mini Munny. Jon has been super busy of late, this is the 3rd custom he has revealed this week, and there is more to come I am sure !! This London Copper was inspired by movies with dour London Coppers from the Victorian age, mulling over Jack the Ripper, Wolfmen or aiding Holmes. Fantastic work yet again from Jon, great work on the expression of the copper. Follow Jon on Twitter ( HERE ) to see what amazing custom he reveals next !

Andrew Bell O-No Sushi Rivet Exclusive

Andrew Bell's Oh-No Sushi is without doubt one of my favorite pieces, and now it is coming out finally in a colourway that is much more suited to Andrews usual creepy style. This lovely grey and bloody colourway is a Rivit  exclusive and looks fantastic, coming out limited to 150 pieces, it will be the one to have for all Oh-No fans.

Drilone Custom BIC Buddy " ET "

Drilone's entry into the BIC Buddy custom show at Crewest is a custom you would think you would see more of, but you dont, ET !! He has absolutely killed this custom, fantastic work by Dril, from the sculpting all the way to the finger that has a light in it, he has nailed this custom. ET is without doubt a custom I would like to see more artists tackling, I think everyone has a soft spot for the little lost alien. Follow Dril on Twitter ( HERE ) to see more amazing work from him.

Amanda Visell Month at Kidrobot

Amanda Visell seems to be flavour of the month in a huge way over at Kidrobot. We have seen sneak peeks of her plush, a log stool, and now KR is releasing her mini series and a 20" Dunny, overkill much? Her mini series looks interesting, called Tic Toc Apocalypse, these mythical little guys capture Amanda's style very well and there is a great array of her characters. See more images ( HERE )

Thw 20" Dunny on the other hand is a major waste of a 20" dunny, Simply re-creating the Dunny from Fatale and making a 20" out of it shows a certain lack of creativity from KR. This Zebracorn Dunny will fly off the shelves, Amanda has a huge following, but just think a bit of variation from KR would have been nice for this platform.

AVATAR666 Custom El Panda "Pinguino Mafioso"

All the way from Mexico comes Avatar666 to blow us away with one of the coolest customs I have seen in a while. Using his weapon of choice, an El Panda figure, he loves to customize Muttpop figures, he has turned El Panda into the Penguin.

There is an awesome amount of work that has gone into this guy, from all the accesories, to the major amount of sculpting. Being a die hard Batman fan, I love this version of the Penguin, think he has captured him perfectly. Have a look at more of Avatar's work ( HERE )  and see some cool WIP shots also.

Jon Paul Kaiser Custom Teddy Troop "Porkins"

What Star Wars fan does not have a soft spot for Red Squadron Pilot Porkins. Now the loveable portly pilot from Star Wars IV: A New Hope has been made into a custom by Jon Paul Kaiser. He has been immortalised in the form of a 3.5" Teddy Troop, done for Some Kind of Joke. Am sure he is really happy with this fantastic piece of custom work. Am loving the bits of red thrown into the mix by Jon, nice addition to his usual black and white style. Very cool piece of work, be sure to follow Jon on Twitter ( HERE ) , he has some big things coming out soon and you dont want to miss out !
